I believe in providing healthcare that focuses on health, wellness, and becoming independent with daily activities. In order to provide patient-centered and family-centered healthcare, I seek to create a balance between meeting the client’s occupational therapy needs and lifestyle demands. By collaborating, listening, and working together to establish goals, the journey to optimizing one’s ability to live their best life begins.

Experience

Kris has been practicing Occupational Therapy for over 27 years. She is passionate about the task of helping her clients increase their independence with play and self-care skills.

Kris has certification in Advanced Therapeutic Listening, Interactive Metronome, Sensory Integration treatment, and Neuromuscular treatment.

Reflex Integration

Kris utilizes Rhythmical Movement Training which is a program that uses developmental movements. gentle isometric pressure and self-awareness to work through the retained primitive reflexes. Through the restoration of the foundation for learning and development, clients have overcome obstacles that include learning, sensory and behavioral challenges.

CranialSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional Release

CranialSacral Therapy is a gentle hands-on approach in which light touch assists to release tension in the body that relieves pain or improves whole-body health. Kris has completed several classes to assist with learning how to help the body be supported when healing itself.
